Shipping and Returns

Shipping:

Unframed Prints:

We ship unframed prints FREE to any UK or international address. Your package will be sent via UPS or DPD couriers with a Standard or express, track and signed for service. Most items are in stock and can be delivered within 72 hours. All unframed prints are carefully hand packaged. (See below for further info*).

Framed Artwork:

We ship all framed artwork FREE in the UK mainland only (excluding framed prints over 80cm prints**). 

We personally deliver any particularly fragile pieces of artwork, like Neon’s, LED’s and large framed prints or multiple pieces of artwork. A Labyrinth Gallery delivery driver, or a specialist courier service, will hand-deliver your piece. Rest assured, both are experts in the safe handling of fragile packaging and artwork. Most items are in stock and can be delivered within 72 hours.

Large Framed Prints (over 80cm):

**Please contact the gallery for special pricing and delivery, of any large, framed prints required, to ship within the UK. Costs will vary, depending on the type and size of your artwork and your location. We will also replace standard glazing for Perspex glazing, in any framed print, shipping outside of the UK, for health and safety.

We currently do not ship ‘large’ framed printed artwork, outside the UK, due to the likelihood of damage in transit and insurance costs.

All framed pieces are first carefully enclosed in bubble wrap, then packed with hardboard or cardboard, with added foam corners for extra protection and then placed in an additional outer carton. (See below for further info*) 

Aluminiums:

We will carefully hand package all Aluminium’s in a bespoke strong box, with its own inner frame and ship FREE to any UK addressYour package will be sent via 24hr delivery using a tracked and signed for service. 

Neon & LED Art:

Neon art is designed for UK electrical specification only. We ship FREE to any UK mainland address. Due to the high value and fragile nature of the neon artworks, we prefer to use our own delivery van for these pieces. When you purchase from us, we will make arrangements with you for the delivery. 

Alternatively, you can collect the artwork from us directly at Labyrinth gallery (Brighton).

Delivery times:

Most items are currently in stock and will be despatched within 24 – 48 hours on receipt of your order. 

If a piece is out of stock at time of purchase, we strive to have the piece ready to ship within 14 days, but this is dependent on the artist. (You will be made aware at the time of purchase, if the shipping time will exceed 14 days – within 24hrs of purchase).

Please be aware that some of our artworks are made bespoke specifically to your order, so if it’s not in stock, it typically takes 10 to 14 working days for it to be produced, framed and dispatched. If timing is critical, for example because you are making a purchase for a birthday gift or Christmas, then please get in touch with us and we will try our best to meet your requirements on the delivery date. 

Typical delivery times post-despatch:

Once your art has despatched from Labyrinth Gallery, expect the following delivery times depending on the courier and country, Subject to covid related delays. Your package will be sent using a tracked and signed for service and we will provide tracking details where possible.

  • UK – 1 – 2 days, via a UK courier service, normally DPD or UPS.
  • Europe – Allow for 3 – 10 days for Standard or express service with UPS.
  • Worldwide – Expect delivery within 10 to 14 days.
  • Express services can often be comparable to standard service pricing, so we will automatically upgrade to express services in these instances.

*How will your order be packaged?

In case you are wondering how we keep your artwork in excellent condition, here is how we package your fabulous new artwork:

  • Unframed prints: Hand-rolled in craft paper and shipped in our sturdy postal tubes and then additional outer boxes to ensure full protection.
  • Framed items: All framed pieces are first carefully enclosed in bubble wrap, then packed with hardboard or cardboard, with added foam padded corners for extra protection and then placed in an additional outer carton. 
  • We also personally deliver any particularly fragile pieces of artwork, like Neon’s, LED’s and large framed prints or multiple pieces of artwork. A Labyrinth Gallery delivery driver, or a specialist courier service, will hand-deliver your piece. Rest assured, both are experts in the safe handling of fragile packaging and artwork.

What am I supposed to do with all this packaging?

We understand that packaging can be difficult to dispose of so we encourage all of our clients to recycle and re use whatever they can, but if not, please try and recycle is as best as you can.

We do respect our precious planet and while we can’t avoid using packaging, we do prioritise recycling and reusing it wherever possible.

If customers are willing to return any packaging to us by hand at Labyrinth Gallery Brighton, we would be more than happy to re-use it again. 

Returns policy:

Because artwork is made specifically to your order, it is normally not possible to cancel the order, exchange it for another item or get a refund if you change your mind after 24 hours of placing order. However, they can be returned if they are confirmed as defective or damaged, in which case we will arrange to replace the item on a ‘like for like’ basis at our discretion.

Our artwork is carefully hand packaged for dispatch. In the unlikely event that artwork should arrived damaged, please report this to us within 48 hours of receiving the package and email us photographs of the damage, both the packaging, if it’s obvious the package has been damaged and the actual damage to the artwork. We will not be held liable for any defects identified after 48 hours of delivery. Please return the item to us within 7 days of receiving it, in its original packaging and we will replace the item for you free of charge. In this event, it is your responsibility, to ensure that every care is taken to ensure the item is packaged with care, so it arrives back in the same condition, in which it was received. Thank you.
