Macho Man – Freddie Mercury By Louis Sidoli – Pop Icons Collection
About this piece: A portrait of Freddie Mercury during the early ‘80s. During that period Mercury changed his image and was known for his tight white vests, leather armbands and moustache – his take on the “Clone” look popular in the gay underground. This portrait is a pencil sketch in the style of the famous Finnish artist “Tom of Finland” who was famous for hyper masculinised pencil sketches.
This piece was originally Designed, Hand Sketched, Drawn and then Digitally Printed. Each piece of his artwork is always hand signed and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
This piece is made from brushed aluminium with a high gloss finish, which is float mounted within an aluminium frame.
Supplied from a Limited Edition of just 5 it is hand signed and numbered by the artist, with a certificate of authenticity. This piece is exclusive to Labyrinth Gallery.
