About this piece: This photo captures a 25-year-old Bruce Springsteen just after his visit to Tower Records. Springsteen was in LA promoting his new album, Born to Run, 1975. The album was Springsteen’s first top 10 album and would cement him as a veritable rock and roll icon.

Terry O’Neill CBE (1938 – 2019) is one of the world’s most collected photographers, with work hanging in national art galleries and private collections worldwide. From presidents to pop stars, he photographed on the frontlines of fame for over six decades.
