About this piece: This Debbie Harry portrait was inspired by her patronage of the infamous Studio 54 nightclub in the 1979-1981 period. Harry along with Andy Warhol was a regular fixture at the club which has gone down in pop culture as the greatest nightclub of all time. This edition features a high gloss solid white background. This piece was created from a hand drawn pencil sketch which has been enlarged and printed on brushed aluminium.
This piece was originally Designed, Hand Sketched, Drawn and then Digitally Printed. Each piece of his artwork is always hand signed and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
About this series: This new aluminium piece has been created for the 10th Anniversary of Louis’ Original London 2009 “Golden Years” Exhibition, held at one of London’s most prestigious art galleries. It is part of a new ’Most Wanted’ Aluminium Series of art.
This piece is made from a Brushed Aluminium float mounted within an anodised aluminium frame.
