Maria Primolan
Maria Primolan is an Architect and sculptor. Born In Turin, Italy in 1971, Maria first studied at The Vittorio Veneto Art School in the Piedmontese state Capital. She then graduated in Architecture from The Polytechnic of Turin.
Maria works in wood, bronze, terracotta and white clay and uses Raku and traditional glazing techniques. In 2016 Maria began working on several sculptures of the late Musician and artist, David Bowie. ‘The Angels gift’ and ‘Goodbye Mr Bowie’. Since then she has produced many more Bowie sculptures, inspired by The Scary Monsters and Space Oddity albums and has been exhibited in Bowie exhibitions in London, Italy and Europe. Maria now produces masks and full busts of some of the greatest music icons, including Bowie, Prince and Freddie Mercury.
